You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?
What Do You Think The Most Important Aspect Of A Paysite Is These Days?
For the following...
Program owners.
Affiliates.
Surfers.
Ive been chatting to several people today about what makes a 'good' paysite and also what is 'important' on a paysite and i have to say, ive come to the conclusion that there really doesnt seem to be (at least for now) a definitive answer.
Program owners, IMHO need the sites to be profitable first and foremost, id say that would be the most important aspect of the paysite for a program owner.
In terms of affiliate webmasters, it seems to be the general consensus with the few people i have talked to, that the site has to 'look' good. Closely followed by has to convert, which i found odd as to me, i like a site to convert whether it looks good or not.
In terms of the surfer, it seems to be that 'content' in some form, either exclusive or not, would appear to be considered the most important after speaking to several friends who surf porn regularly however, the 'amount' of content doesnt really seem to be an issue, along with the type of content, so long as the site isnt full of feeds.
I just wondered what you folks thought the most important aspect of a paysite is for the 3 types of people i mentioned above were as im trying to get a gauge on some new stuff im working on slowly LOL
So your thoughts, what is the most important aspect of a paysite for a program owner, affiliate webmaster and a surfer?
Regards,
Lee

How long have you been gay?
I think you are spot on with all these things. Running a successful site is a combination of factors. I believe the members area is very important because most of the money is in the rebills. It is a lot easier to keep a member than to get one.

Words paint the real picture
For myself, I'd say it comes down to content in all three areas. If a paysite owner has good content, the site will convert, which makes it profitable, and for an affiliate, if a site has good content, its easier to sell and convert... and for a surfer, well good content makes it worth the investment, and if that content is sufficient, then it is enough to renew... so for me the answer is content.. quality of, quanity of. There would other variables, but if there is sufficient quality and quantity, I think it works out irrespective of design.
my two cents:morning:
