We're looking at setting up some kind of spam filter, either server based or through a program like that SpamArrest.
Was just wondering if any of you folks had used such a service and if so, which one you liked and why?

If you check the filtered emails for a week or two you're good to go
After that, notify any new senders that you have spamarrest and to respond to the verification email, and you're good to go.
I have tried every filter on outlook etc and nothing compared to Spamarrest.

I HATE paying for something that should be automatically integrated into outlook etc, but I get thousands of spam emails a day and, in all honesty, Spamarrest has saved me a lot of time and productivity.
I use thunderbird's spam filter which is a bayesian filter.
It whitelists all your contact in thunderbird adress book and checks only the ones NOT in your addressbook.
Not one email slipped into spam yet - of course a lot of spam is english and I tend to email in german - that might help with success rate.
Some (new spam) is in my email box and I just train the filter on the new spams and woosh - gone

so how are customer service email handled if you use a spam filter? part of our problem is that when I started using a spam filter it was blocked a larger percent of customers' email from coming through.
