Pornography Producers To Get Death Penalty Under New Law

The culture committee of the Iranian parliament approved on Monday a bill sentencing to death producers of 'pornography', videos and films deemed vulgar by the country's censorship. The draft law will now go to parliament where it is expected to be approved by an ample majority. Amateur porn films have a prosperous market in Iran and can fetch up to 30 euros each.

The market, tolerated for a long time, became a nationwide issue earlier this year after a porn film of popular television actress, Zohre Mir Ebrahimi, having sex with her partner, was released.

I think his choice of word makes a real point, and he got the reaction he was looking for.

I doubt at the KKK rally they said "Let's go find us some People of African Decent" The people that used the word "******" as part of their everyday vocabulary, and of course those that still do, are now considered insolent bigoted morons. However, in a free society, we must tolerate the insolent bigoted moron point of view. I believe that in order to illuminate how insolent those old views are that we do not sugar coat their actions, words, or expressions. By whispering it or trading a more tolerant word in its place, or the stupid "N-Word" expression, we take away from the fact that hate, bigotry, and intolerance cannot be made to go away just because we don't want to say the words out loud.
I don't say that the John Deere workers at the Waterloo Blackhawks hockey game called me a "fraternal brother with feminine characteristics". Those bastards called me a "frat pussy faggot". Because I repeat what they said does not make me less of a person for using the words, it shows what assholes those guys really were.

The Iranian government strongly reflects the views of the majority there. They want Americans dead. They attack us in Iraq. The holocaust didn't happen. Publicly hanging homosexuals... I can even deal with that. But when you start killing people for porn THAT my friend... is going to far!

As expressed by Chad above, my choice of the "n" word was deliberate in my attempt to express my point.

As far as my statement of live and let live...my point was that if we start to interfere in EVERY FUCKING NATION that does not share our views...then, well thats a long fucking list.

That's like, when someone says "the eff word" to me my usual reply is, "honey, you're an adult... you can say fuck". Language is such a funny thing. You realize that by stating "the _____ word" you are still saying the ideas and definition of that word. Why not just use the word or not, but referring to a word by another word is really a few too many words.
