What Do You Think The Hardest Thing To Sell In Adult Is These Days?

I personally have no luck lately selling those penis exercise programs or tools, ive tried several times but my surfers just dont want to buy them, i guess thats why they payout as much as $200 a sale.

I also dont think its to do with marketing techniques, i just think surfers that are looking for 'porn' are about as likely to buy one of these mail order products as they are a new cat

So what products have you had trouble selling in adult and why?

Thats because of VOD/PPV growth.

We're now down to about 2% DVD sales in a year but thankfully VOD and pay per view sales have increased steadily over the past 3 years.

IMHO its only going to be a matter of time before DVDs become extinct.

I've been saying this for some time now, and even have been told that "sales are great" by many in the face of what I saw was pretty compelling evidence. yes the move away from DVDs is occuring. Be ready.

I bllew a load money on Adwords and AVNAds with nothin, zero, zilch signups :crazyeyes: ... couldn't believe how hard it was to get people to signup for it, or maybe most people are on to the deal where if you want the hot stuff you'd have to ponny up cash. Or maybe they just don't want to spend $5 a minute to talk someone on camera when they can go whack off on ICUII for free

Webcams of the "join for free" but pay per minute variety have done zilch for me in the last year. Webcams of the "all included" in your paid membership variety have done much better, however.

Weird how some traffic likes one thing but not another. My traffic loves VOD. AEBN is my #1 sponsor with over 1100 sales/month. But for the life of me I cannot sell a single imlive membership. Have sent them thousands of hits from a number of different sources with zero sales.

Agree. Have not been able to convert a single sale for devices or pills in 2 years.

I actually find VOD sales quite easy to get on existing traffic, the trick however, is to make sure that you are promoting a VOD sponsor that gives you credit for sales YOU generate, not just unique customers.

I currently have a couple of VOD companies im working with and so far, although the income generated hasnt been as high as i would have liked it to be with one of them, by actually targeting the niches and running regular updated ads on my sites revenues are slowly but steadily increasing.

I personally dont like the whole 'VOD' business model from a surfers standpoint but if it sells, im gonna sell it to them, im here to make money at the end of the day
