Have to admit we did the usual, shopping, cleaning, work.

I spent the weekend doing the relative thing on the other side of Aus. I flew out Sat morn and flew back mon arvo. Only a quick visit but at least I caught up with all the family that I hadn't seen in a while. Now it's time to get stuck in to the housework.

I spent most of Friday recovering from Thursday night, and on Saturday, I GOT MY BIKE!!!

YAY!!!

I had it for about half an hour before I hauled out the tools and started to modify it.. I got off the windshield (Which just looked silly) and lowered the seat a bit. Oh, and I removed the decals, cuz I'm gonna replace them with some better looking ones I picked up last month.

It's rather dreamy looking, although I'm still not sure if Yellow and Black was the way to go. It looks cool, but I'm more of a dark blue kind of guy. However, it fits my ass like a glove, and it's got a surprising amount of umpfh.

And the most important thing, is that yes, I look really hot on it.


Oh, and then I went to a toga party on Saturday night with a whole bunch of drunken straight boys.

THAT's a story unto itself.

I had a great weekend!

I had a cute model scheduled for a photo shoot on Friday, and to avoid spending $100 on 35mm film, I decided to plunk down $1400 on a new digital camera instead!

The photo session was incredible, let me know what you think of him. (If I can figure out how to post a picture here...)

I also spent 10 hours in the garden on Sunday.

...ok i'm back. well, here's my weekend:

friday night my crazy, mental, dramatic, manipulative x attempted suicide...or at least made it look like that's what he was trying to do. he wrote several versions of a note for me that i found taped to the door when i arrived (he knew what time i'd be there btw) to return some of his stuff. long story short, i had to sit with the cops for some time after they took him to the hospital...answer questions from detectives...finally i got to leave at about 1:30 in the morning. they told me he would have survived even if nobody had shown up...oddly enough, the last time he tried this was the last time i left him. that was several years and many lessons ago. i called the cops, they took care of him...i did my part and i'm done. he needs help that i can't give, and i'm no longer willing to try.

saturday was one of the best days i've had in a long time. got up early, went to yoga (i'm now in love with yoga) spent time in the sunshine with some of my true friends having coffee and shopping. got cards for a sick friend in hospital...went home, got ready and went to the wings/flames game downtown with my dad...i love my dad. but i think this kid in the suite with us was checking him out. that was kinda weird. the kid was really cute...but why was he checking out my dad...creepy...not used to that.

sunday was spent mostly with AA people but was a pretty spiritually uplifting day.

now, if i can just get a ride on jasun
