my dad used to sing "You Are My Sunshine" to me...
and I love the movie "Wizard of Oz" so the song
"Somewhere Over the Rainbow" has meaning to me from childhood...
and I love the instrumental soundtrack from the movie
"Titanic" the movie that was 5 years or so ago...
I like to listen to - old stuff - like Dean Martin, Perry Como,
Carly Simon, and a gazillion more...

the word Birdcage in the title... it's an older one...

things are too exciting and move fast to end...
it'd have to be volume after volume after volume and be read in the dark on
Wednesdays in Private... and for a limited time on Saturdays in the bright
sunshine outside - on the beach... otherwise hide it... and keep it hidden...
and for gawds sake - wash your hands before you tough my bookjacket..
and do not ... not ... not fold the corners of the pages down or pick your
nose while reading my book...

I don't go to Baskin Robbins...
but if I had to pick a favorite flavor from
the grocery store then the flavors would be:
MooseTracks (I think it's by Dannon),
or Butter Pecan, or Chocolate Cherry Cordial -
but I rarely eat ice cream dairy makes me
feel bloated... I don't like that feeling...

a strawberry that grows on a strawberry
plant - I like then clean - whole - freshly
frozen - taken out of the freezer in a
dish - to thaw for about one hour on a hot
hot summer day and then eatten while still
about 50 % frozen... eatten with fingers...
I like green grapes the same way... and I
like strawberries in cereal... or added into
a vanilla milkshake and run through the
blender again... I like them with with a
hard outer coating of chocoate also...
or in champagne...

years and years ago...
it broke my heart to go into early labor
and have a premmie bthat contracted
viral pnemonia while in the hospital trying to
gain weight - he was born at 3.8 lbs went down
to 2.14 then had started going back up and
was at about 3.11 when he got the pnemonia...
and stopped breathing... he recovered...
gained a few more ounces and was released
from the hospital... my little miracle baby...
then 8 months later - while thinking the
slow development was due to premature
birth (etc.) the doctor told me that he
had cerebral palsy...
long story short - he does have cerebral palsy..
and today other than not being able to walk
he is a fine - healthy happy
wonderful young man...
but hearing that after all he'd gone through
at birth - and hearing 8 months later that
he was not "out of the woods"
that... that broke my heart...
the only other broken heart I have
had - relates to loosing family members
along the way... (them passing away)
