Sizes for video previews

What are video sizes that you guys use for your tours and FHGs.. I am working on some stuff, and wanted you guys imput as to what works best. I obviously want it to be of good quality, but I don't want the quality so high that the bandwith bill is outrageous... Suggestions?

We are doing 480x360 at the moment... up from 320x240

good question - I'd like to know the same - I'm cutting my first trailers using my new Final Cut that I just loaded in over the weekend....

We are doing 640x480 (or 720x480, or 853x480, depending on which camera format) at 500K. In the members area, it's 1Mbit, but it still looks decent in the previews at 500k.

Same here.. all my new vids are being digitized at these dimensions

Our preview vids are encoded at 768k which I think gives the surfers a good idea what the video will look like at full size. And when we changed from 320x240@768k to 480x360@768k, it didn't really increase the file size that much
