Anyone Planning On Buying Google Shares?

Just wondered if anyone here had considered buying any shares in Google?

have to admit i have thought about it but in all honesty, i think Google may be on the verge of losing their SE market hold in the next fiscal year

There is a lot of talk about some of the large companies such as Microsoft launching their own search tehcnology and, lets be honest, if they do launch a reasonably decent SE it will be shipped 'as standard' wih any new PC.

So how about the rest of you? You going to be buying stock in Google?

google may lose their spot as the top dog within the next year or so, but yes i plan to ride the IPO wave just as i did with yahoo, amazon, etc.

I agree Lee, I think Google will lose some their market share once MSN search arrives and there will be a "3 horse race" in Google, MSN and Yahoo.

However, I feel confident they will be able to keep producing profits for themselves and shareholders. If the opportunity arrises I may buy a few
