I've never been, but I just booked my hotel room on hotwire.com. $70 a night for 4 star Marriott ($365 a night on Expedia). What a deal!
I love the pics I've seen from Southern Decadence. So, can I take my digital camera and take pics and legally post them on the internet?

'Party' type content IMHO is a tricky one legally and as much as i would like to be able to give you a solid yes/no answer your best bet would be to speak to an attorney about it.
I beleive there has been some recent news stories on avn.com about this type of content too you may like to check out

You are not allowed to bring camera's etc. into the clubs but I'm not sure about in the streets... I know alot of people get their photos on the streets.
I'll be there... Hopefully my DJ Booking at phoenix bar is still good.
I think I'll be there about 3 days maybe 2 if I'm lucky.
I know for a fact they don't and will not allow you to bring a camera in there..
IMO if you do take pictures at S.D. 2004, you'd better get ready to be sued...!!!
People are onto those webmasters posting those types of photos.:baby:
Did you stop to think, maybe these guys (with the SD Photos)may have brought their models with them. That would be your best bet. Shoot your legal content and re-sell or keep it exclusivly.
Perhaps you should carry some Model Release Forms, a Scanner for taking a copy of their Photo ID, etc.

But I've seen plenty of public event photos on websites such as Kev's Cave and they have photos of Mardi Gras, Southern Decadence, etc. So you're saying this is illegal? I though that when someone was in public, they had no expectation of privacy.
Well, I was going just to have fun anyways. If I can't take photos for web use... no biggie. Maybe, I'll see you there!

Not 100% sure of that one.. But all the clubs have signs posted that no cameras, etc allowed inside.
