What Do You Think The Up And Coming Niches Are In Gay?

I was wondering, a few years ago we had a pretty good discussion on GWW about the various niches that were readily available to promote, and some that werent, after checking out a few of those threads this morning, it actually looks like a few of us were pretty spot on with our ideas about what niches were going to be big over the coming years.

So that being said, what niches do you folks see that are starting out small but that have a huge potential in the near future to be the next 'twink' or 'bear' niches?

I think that it has all been done at this point. I mean, there are sites for every fetish and at this point I think that marketing and quality are the important areas to concentrate on.

Quality will always win but of course, you have to let the surfer know about your product so they can buy it.

it's nice to see chest/facial hair make a "reappearance" on some of the models though this is not the area i would personally focus on. (interpreted: based on the theory of how many times can you "invent the wheel" you must always be able to make the wheel "new & exciting" which means you have to put the wheel in different phases of use!)

I agree with you about hair! Since we have been in Argentina we have noticed that it only Americans who trim to try to look younger...where we have been feed the idea that only twinks are sexy...wrong!

The rest of the world is in tune with reality and that is that hair is sexy! Hair = sexual maturity and that is what sex is all about.

We are going to be shooting a huge amount of content with young guys who DO NOT TRIM at all!

The loudest micro niche for us is the macro niche...those guys can not get enough. The bulk of the content out there is so bad that when you sell them something good they are REALLY supportive.

The are followed a close second by guys how are crazy about socks....

I think mature over 50 (and in shape) is underserved, and I notice a new sponsor recently started such a site. Also, I think chubby guys is an underserved niche, but with less potential.

We try and try to get our models to let their hair grow out. It's a struggle, even straight young guys are shaving their pubes off completely. But I've noticed quite a customer demand for more hair. Hopefully the model wannabes get the hint.

In regards to other things we are hearing from folks, it's a lot to do with feet.

Micro niching with excellent original content is the strong surge IMHO ...

Sites like our BeastsWithBoys and StraightGuysJackingOff are the ones hsowing strong upward growth and higher retention over the past few months.

Anything that is sub-themed is where the long term is at I believe.

Id have to agree with you on this one for sure.

Im seeing more and more 'mature' type sites placing chub content in their members areas and on their tours over the past few months, i actually have a couple of Chub domains to that im getting ready to use but the content is actually hard to find, in terms of quality.

Judging from what our members are telling us, they're sick and tired of the "Straight guys having gay sex" thing. They're ready to see masculine gay guys enjoying sex over guys who claim to be straight having sex they're not in to.

They want guys with body hair. They want to see guys who have a more natural manliness.

They're sick and tired of "twinks." Isn't everyone?

They want hard bodies and handsome faces, for sure, but they also like seeing non-sexual nudity between men.

I'll tell you that as repulsive as I find it, there seems to be a bit of a movement of straight men having straight sex with the girl barely visible.

But I'm not sure if there's enough of a market to really make a site worth it in the long run.

Stats always amaze me. Our most popular video last month was Vin Marco tossing a football around. Not a bit of nudity in it. Second to that one is a mature muscle (naturally hairy) model in a long j/o shower scene. (Unique views...not hardcore fans).
