I have some IPs/emails of people sharing movies on public places like blogs and forums and I think it would be great if we have a place where we can share this info.... anyone here want to make such a shitlist ?
While I was investigating how are the people sharing movies over internet I found this site
http://www.megarotic.com/video/?c=channels&s=58
I just can't understand how's something like this possible ???
Welcome to our world! I have personally shut down at least 3 previous blogs by Valhummers, this is now his 4th one! He and most of the other bloggers now know not to allow Titan stuff to appear on their blogs. If it does we will get them shut down again and they have to start all over. All this really does is shift them to stealing stuff from our competators.
It's like fucking whack-a-mole!
Google, which owns blogspot, will respond to electronic DMCA takedowns only if you have been previously verified. If not you have to physically mail them or fax them in to them.
I have treid over and over again to get other major studios to repsond and do something as well. But, I have had little resutls. No one seems to give a shit that their stuff is being stolen.
The other angle you might try to work is that none of the blog sites, or content, is properly labled with 2257 information. I'm sure that this is a violation of federal law and a violation of Blogspot/Googles TOS. I'm sure Google wouldn't want illegal and potentially under-age content on their servers.
Oh look... Blogspot are clueless.
there was a blog that was called "The Fratmen Blog" and not only violated our copyright, it also linked to LOTS of stolen content.
Blogspot made me jump through hoop after hoop until they edited a few posts.. which the blog owner just edited back to include new links to newly uploaded files.
We eventually got him shut down but it took lots of trouble and time.

Isn't it high time gay pornographers banded together to battle these content thieves cooperatively? It's just getting ridiculous, especially with Google/blogspot's tacit support of them.

I would be 100% behind setting up a group to do that. We must protect our work. Those of us that produce our own content are taking a huge hit. I rather like the idea of being viewed as a member of this "evil empire" of "Nazi" "leering" "greedy website" owners.
The link to this thread was passed to me in the hopes I'd post it on geekslut. I'm not going too. Not really my thing. But...
Look, you guys are looking at the gay "porn" bloggers in the wrong way. Use them to promote your shit. I mean look at the recent RIAA shit going down. They are losing cases and it has not stopped music swapping at all. In fact, if anything the RIAA pissed off their best customers and promoted more illegal activities (swapping).
You (and I am mainly pointing at Titan) are doing the same thing. Soon a site will launch that has every Titan video ever shot posted on it. Just to piss you off. It happened to the music companies. it'll happen to you.
So play it smart. Look at these guys as customers. Send them promo materials. Get them to post links to the movies/sites. Most of these guys be happy to join forces with you. They are lovers of porn.
it's just that simple. Don't be dense and think inside the box.
Just a note: I don't post porn. Nor do I plan too.

PS: Since I don't hold out much hope.. flame on.
oh please, geek slut.
that blog had about 10 hours of my content on it... all for free.
that's not promotion, that's piracy.
I HAVE offered bloggers free content to post.. some take it but most do not. Most of them just ignore you and keep posting your movies.
Look, we spend tens of thousands of dollars on some of our movies at Fratmen... we can't afford to just let the bloggers post it for shits and giggles and just shrug it off as if it isn't hurting our bottom lines and threatening our companies.

I just blog. About BS I do, see and have in my life. A true blogger.
I was emailed the link to (as the emailer put it) "raise awareness of attacks on gay bloggers". He wants me to blog about it.
I don't plan on doing that. I understand where you guys are coming from. You're just dealing with it in the wrong way. You won't win by trying to shut them down. New sites will just pop up. Faster. I mean, ask the RIAA. LOL.
it's the wrong approach. You gotta come up with a way to work with the "free-porn" bloggers. Get them on your side.
