You can still buy poppers in just about any adult book store or leather shop as far as I know. Of course they aren't called poppers. They are disguised as leather strippers, head cleaners or 'aroma'.

But I would be very careful marketing them online. Poppers and boner drugs (Viagra, Cialis, etc) used together are DEADLY! Anyone selling poppers is just waiting to get sued.

Just looking around online and I would say it is a TERRIBLE idea. All online sellers I've looked at appear to be overseas and some will not even ship to the US at all.

Below is a typical warning that I found on this site http://www.liquidaromaworld.com/

IMPORTANT NOTICE: All our nitrite based products are sold as room odorants, liquid incense, liquid aromas, video head cleaners, and leather cleaners only. The use of volatile nitrites for euphoric effects is strictly prohibited. Inhalation of nitrites by individuals with blood pressure, respiratory, heart problems, or persons taking medications such as Viagra or similar medications are at risk of serious injury and / or death; persons inhaling such products do so at their own risk and waive and forever release the owners, directors, agents and employees of this site from any and all liability, of whatever kind and without limitation, for any and all uses that are not of a commercial purpose or that have been purposefully inhaled by the individual. The bottles contain warnings against directly inhaling the product and should only be used in accordance to the label. These products are NOT sold for human consumption in accordance with CPSA, 15 USC 2051-2084, at 2057a, 2057b and 2068. These products are not for sale to minors!

amyl nitrate requires a prescription. butyl nitrate - the stuff in bookstores - is legal to sell, but most people i know who've tried it say it gives them a headache. needless to say, butyl nitrate a far cry from the real thing.

here is a commercial link with info about poppers and they say it's still illegal in the U.S.:

    http://www.epoppers.com/poppersfaq.shtml

On a suggestion of one of my partners I've used poppers once, but I must say that they didn't do anything for me, except for giving me a little headache. For me it was a waste of money. But then, a long time ago in my teen years weed didn't do anything for me. I guess I'm just immune for certain kind of drugs others get all crazy about. Luckily alcohol still gives me a kick every once in a while.

no, dude - that bookstore crap isn't really poppers. they give everyone i know a headache. they're just a pretend version of real poppers, which are an emergency heart attack medication - amyl nitrate.

I fondly recall my Disco days in NYC and Fire Island Basschick over 25 years ago when I was a young lad. Nowadays, it is indeed "bookstore" quality. Jungle Juice is a brand that never gave me a headache.

To answer Lee's inquiry, is it legal to sell in the USA?

I buy electrics, books and most everything else via the internet. I purchase "poppers" from http:// jenray.com - located in California.

Well, I had the real stuff - amy nitrite - which you can legally buy and possess over here in some European countries.

We sell a few brands at www.Boyzshop.com. Whether they're a good idea or not, they move. They're not exactly the product I'm most proud of, but there's a demand that will be filled.
