Im not quite sure what to think of this myself, my gut tells me yet again this is another reason why you folks are scumbags however, im really hoping this is just some kind of oversight on your part.

Why are you allowing a torrent site to publish ads on the AVN network?

For a company that claims to be an industry leader, you sure do like shafting people in the adult industry an awfull lot as of late $0.02

No AVN is still allowing ad buys on ThePirateBay and they seem to be ignoring us yet again.

The answer is that AVN is not profiting from torrent sites, but one of our business partners (AdBrite) is.

If you've been following the thread on GFY, you might have seen some of the posts from other AVN reps, like this one from MJ:

Other than that, there's not a whole helluva lot I can tell ya. You cannot access The Pirate Bay via AVN Ads. Obviously, we do not support torrent sites, but there are other companies that do. Make your own judgments if you want about the partnership we have with AdBrite, but there's no money coming in AVN's door off torrent sites.

Actually, Lee, that's not the case. The thing is, besides me, nobody from AVN has the time to wade through catty posts from bitchy, jaded queens on a message board where the primary reason for posting seems to be spreading malicious gossip throughout the industry. I only do it because I am a glutton for punishment. But after I'm gone, I highly doubt that you'll have anyone else from AVN to kick around. Just as an FYI, so that everyone else knows that it's not that AVN isn't remaining silent on purpose. It's just that they'll be ignoring the fact that you even exist in the first place. And with good reason.

Okay, you guys removed one torrent site by redirecting it to AdBrite, but a search for 'torrents' still lists a fair number of publishers all of which have illegal content on them in the directory.
