Epasporte dead?

Ok, this morning I wanted to load money into my account and it said that my CC was "Not Currently Accepted".... I never had any troubles with it before and it's full of funds and still not pass the expiration date.

Then I went along to register a new account with my Visa cc. First page went fine, then next page said that I needed to add $25 to verify:

"Please select one of the following load options :"

and it was all empty.... nothing to click on, nothing at all there?!

Did they stop accepting new clients?

Well they have stopped accepting MasterCard to load funds now - I sent them a support ticket about it 4 days ago and only just this minute got a reply back :

"We apologize for the inconvenience but ePassporte no longer accepts
MasterCard Credit/Debit Cards for loading funds. ePassporte does not
believe MasterCard?s security procedures meet the standards required by
ePassporte to ensure the security of our Account Holders."

Ok, my account also uses Mastercard.... but why the heck don't they post this "NEWS" somewhere on the main page?!

I mean, probably there are hundreds and hundreds of people that were using Mastercard.... also, how the heck can I add my Visa there? Anyone has any clue? I see no option to add another credit card... Jesus... I'd stop using them, but many TGP's use only epassporte for partner accounts.... hate it hate it... die epassporte! Die!

So in other words, Epassporte expects its customers to believe that Mastercard's security procedures have been fine for the past 3 or 4 years, but ALL OF A SUDDEN, Mastercard has degraded their security procedures to the point that Epassporte, that paragon of security in transactions, has deemed that these security procedures don't meet the needs of their customers?

How can a company even post shit like this. Do they really think people are that stupid?

Dont forget, most webmasters in the industry today will gleefully accept anything they are handed on a plate for the most part.

When the 'excuse' isnt accepted and threads like this start elsewhere, its just explained away as 'drama'

I was never able to get my mastercard to work with epassporte always had problems with them it's just an on going thing bad support lazy employee's

I totally agree with Chip, this is absolute b.s. The 2nd largest credit company in the world has less security than a relatively new company who deals almost exclusively with casinos and adult???? I don't think so!!!

Moral of the story...... dont be a sheep and go doing everything any old webmaster tells you is ACE ...such as join e pass coz its the best thing since square wheels.
