3D Porn...

Okay, so I saw this link in a myspace group linking to bangin3d.com and I wondered if anyone else here has ever thought about doing something like that.

I have to admit, I thought about doing 3D porn before, but didn't know if it would make it in the gay world or if it would be worth the time to get the 3d imaging working.

Any thoughts?

A few years ago someone tried making a big push for 3d content although the costs of producing it were crazy, i actually seriously looked at it as a viable business model but the headsets that were needed at the time to view it properly via a monitor ran to about $100 a peice and they had to be purchased 2-3 weeks before the membership to the site.

This looks like its those cheap 3d glasses you get on comic books though and i have to admit, i never really found the quality of the content good enough to justify using those myself.

I thought it would be fun to do one 3D scene in a Fratmen movie... we looked into it but it seemed way much more trouble than it's worth.

3D content is going to be a breakthrough when we finally won't need glasses to view it. And judging by the way science is advancing we are going to have this opportunity in 5-10 years from now.

I had investigated this 3D concept in early 2005. Even purchasing the product in bulk, I also could not generate a profitable business model - with the time-consuming process of converting images and the expected additional customer service. I just looked at the old websites and I see that James and Ross of Coral Springs, Florida, are now selling their product on Ebay to gamers.

It is a good concept if you can make it worth the time, but that's the biggest hurdle from what I've figured. All the programs out there that can convert the files to 3D just take a while to run. Therefore, I couldn't really see a profitable reason to do this.

A lot of the symbian machines are now able to connect from user to user via a PC so one controls what goes on for the other person
