I have to say, they do look pretty cool but considering i take my laptop pretty much everywhere with me i dont see the need to have all that 'extra' crap on my cell phone, especially considering ive lost mine twice already since the Phoenix show and have had to buy a replacement for it both times LOL

So any of you folks planning on getting the new iPhone on the 29th?

I needed a replacement phone a couple of months ago and could not wait any longer so I got a motorola slvr, very thin and light. I would love an iphone but prolly not till christmas time.

I couldn't wait a week for the iphone so I went and bought the Upstage. It's clearly not in the iphone's league BUT it does fit nicely in my pockets and it's weighted enough that I am able to toss it around my hand and flip it without dropping it. I'd hate to think what i'd do if I dropped my iphone.

Waiting for GEN 2 also.

Yep! I don't even like cellphones and rarely use mine. But the iPhone is just too sexy to resist.

Well, actually.. that's a little extravagant on the numbers...

That's if you're paying $220 (per month) for the crazy-super-HUGE package deal. Thanks... but no. Now... take in comparison the other deals... The lowest one being $59.99 a month... A whole ten dollars more than I'm paying for my Razr (which has unlimited texts/ and more minutes than I could possibly use in -two- months, along with ringtones/ringbacks, etc.)

(No activation.. I've been with T-mobile for a while :square: )
$49.99 p/month. = 1,199.76 plus tax


Iphone-
$499.00 Phone
$36.00 Activation
$59.00 p/month = 1,974.76 plus tax.

Just a few more hundred dollars to be tech'ed out and super-hip... If that's how you get your jollies.

Me? I'll save my money for a nice dinner - T-mobile does just fine for me... But don't be too surprised if I ask to check my myspace with your pretty phone. :joker:
