    Older Review Site Owners...

Are you noticing that both traffic and the amount of sales your review sites are getting has dropped in the past year as review sites have become the new 'tgp' of the industry?

I must admit, in the past 6 months ive totally stopped submitting the Condom Cash sites for review for this reason, it used to be that a good listing on a review site would bring in guaranteed sales, no matter whether the site had a good or a bad review, now it seems like because everyone has a review site, the quality of reviews, traffic and sales has dropped to pretty insignificant levels.

I was just wondering if those of you with reviews that have been around longer than a year or more had noticed the same decrease in sales and traffic?

    Regards,

    Lee

You just have to look at the type of reviews that the sites are putting together for you. If the site takes the time and energy to write a quality and thorough review for you, then the end-user population they've acquired will notice that. Going with a review site with zero traffic and a copy-paste review would definitely lead to a dead end.

I would still submit your sites because it's pretty much free traffic, maybe just be pickier on who you submit it to.

My advice would be to read some reviews made on these review sites and base your decision on that. If you feel that the writing style or the concept of the review site is not to your liking, simply don't submit to them.

I agree though (although we operate a review site) that there are many fishy fish in the pond and there are only a handful or so of review sites that I would trust as a consumer.

Maybe a review or review sites is next!

Review sites are still some of our biggest affiliates.

But maybe that's because we get mostly great reviews.

I think Review sites are subjective and based on a few I have read, make me question the person doing the reviews.

Namely... the mindset of an older person doing the reviews. Someone whom has a hard time joining the modern world and the modern interweb design flow. Who thinks links must be on the left, frames are hip and has an aol or webtv account.

As well as, Seeing the sites OWNED by the person doing the review and how they review their competition sites. How they rank their Own sites and my personal review of their site, it's content and "flow"

Edit: Owning a review site is also a GREAT way to see the inside of your competition's sites, for free, and as a surfer, a great scam for free porn.
