Match the color scheme of the site they are being used to promote?

Im actually torn on this myself, i do think there is a place for promo tools that match the same color scheme as the paysite they are promoting however, i also think that offering a range of banners in different colors can be a good thing too as most affiliates dont use the same color schemes on their sites.

I wonder what you folks thought about this, do you tend to use promotional tools that match the scheme of the site you are wanting to promote or, do you choose your promo tools to match the scheme of YOUR website?

I think the color scheme should match, I do however think when you have a special promotion banner, different colors should/could be used to make it stand out and really show what you are offering
