the types of software that you can not do without using for building porn sites i am going to be starting my paysite soon and wanted to know what softwares i will need to use to get it working

If you mean for ON your computer ... you'll probably want something like Fireworks or Photoshop for handling graphics, making banners, optimizing photos and so on, and Dreamweaver for building pages - the html or php type pages. If you want to do video editing, you'll be looking at various video editing software ... which others will have to recommend as I don't use them so can't really suggest which to start out with.

If you haven't already done other types of sites, these programs do take some time to learn.

Can you be more specific about what software you're referring to? IE: on the home computer, or stuff you'll need to run a paysite online (like a content management program, or various scripts and so on)
