So I was on a mainstream forum last night and people were bitching about one user who had an image of Jesus and the text "Even I post here" as their Avatar.
It's a popular forum and though the avatar was a mild joke at the attitude of the forum owners, people got into a huge uproar to the subject.
Can something as simple as your Avatar hurt your business image on a forum?
And would you rather the "face to name" feel of a real headshot? or doesn't matter to you?
some people just need a sense of humour transplant.
people just take way too many things too seriously.

I agree that people just need to lighten up and stop taking everything so serious. I made a tshirt in college for fun that said "Lick my balls if you love Jesus". Some people laughed so hard they almost peed when they saw it and others were so offended by it they tried to get me kicked out of school. Regardless, it all made for an interesting thesis in my mental studies class :p

I had a 'masturbation isnt a crime' tshirt a couple of years ago and went to our local flea market and everyone commented on it LOL

to answer the first question i dont think avatrs or sigs can hurt someones business its how the person acts on the boards in their way of saying things like pimpdog over on gfy that hurts somebodys business i think

I dont remember exactly, all i know is the first chick that saw it wasnt to impressed and neither was her boyfriend LOL
I think i actually ended up turning it inside out half way through the day haha
