In terms of the content being used on the tour?
Im thinking that a lot of buff looking white guys would probably sell better to a general audience than a lot of buff looking black guys, what are your folks thoughts on this?
I could always add a mix of content but if white guys are going to sell better on a general site then thats what id like to use more of on the tour itself.
Any advice or experience with this?

all of our titles and releases have done equally well - regardless of what race(s) and or combinations are depicted on the cover image
african american / asian / pacific islanders - you name it - we have had healthy sales for all types of mixes and matches...
as Cam said, we are color blind
I'm going to be blunt here...
On UKnakedmen, we feature men of all colors. Unfortunately, we do see a slight drop in new sales when a black man is featured at the top of the tour page. We've even had a member or two post rascist comments about that in our member's forum.
But most members seem to enjoy the variety that we provide for them. And we will continue to do so. In fact one of our most well received photoshoots feature this guy...

We have noticed that when we send out images of our black bodybuilder models that sales overall drop. This seems to be directly related to the number of affiliates that do not feature them. The model with one of the best physiques we have ever shot resulted in the fewest number of views of his image and video galleries (in the preview and member areas) and the fewest inclusions in other galleries by our affiliates. We were floored by this since he is one of the best of the best. The quality of his photographs was extraordinary but earned raves only from fine art sites.

i've had the same experience for years, and not just with black men. any obviously ethnic men seem to lower sales unless it's an ethnic site - asian and black guys don't seem to sell as well on general sites who sell great on asian and black sites. same applies to very latin looking latin guys, although latin guys who don't appear overtly latin guys seem to sell the same as white guys.
our biggest design annoyance is that out of our 3 best models, 1 is middle eastern and 1 is black and even though they have great big gorgeous muscular physiques, are handsome and even nice, they undersell less impressive but white models
I don't think it's just porn. The head of Vogue magazine pointed out how sales drop when very ethnic models are featured on their covers. She was trying to explain that he decision not to have many minorities featured on covers stemmed from the fact that it was a simple business move and not prompted by racism or stuff like that. Sounds reasonable. I guess.
The problem is, people assume it is a rasism issue when it isnt, i cant see that from the replies in this thread, even though putting black guys on a tour makes sites lose money, the site owners still prefaced their responses with 'we're color blind' in case they were perceived as racist for stating the business facts.
Its a shame really.
