The infamous Amateur Straight Guys / ASG / Digital Ventures, LLC / Doug & Jay Productions / Blondie Girl Productions / or whatever you want to call them are back recruiting affiliates for their sites amateurstraightguys.com and eyeonthestraightguy.com under the name Boner Bucks (http://www.bonerbucks.net).

This company has not paid at least some (possibly many) of their affiliates for commissions earned under their Straight Guy Cash program which they were forced to close in October 2006.

Seth,

I apologize for the lack of response that you have received re: our affiliate program. The truth of the matter is that we have been forced to close the program due to cash constraints put on us by the IRS. We haven't known really how or what to do but have made the decision as of last week to close the program. We are working with our attorney to help us compile all final statistics and payout information and a letter will be issued to all affiliates this week. Our intention is to pay every affiliate every penny we owe them and we won't rest until that's accomplished. We certainly haven't handled the situation well and I acknowledge that but avoiding the situation is no longer an option and is certainly not fair to our affiliates. I apologize again for the lack of communication and I appreciate all the traffic you've sent our way. The Amateur Straight Guys brand remains strong and growing and the elimination of our affiliate program will certainly improve our margins !

Unfortunately this issue is one of the reasons we can't accept any additional sponsors that utilize self-pay or "self-administrated" payment programs, unless they have some historical financial references. I assume from your post that you have not yet received a final payment...

One of the best-selling features of CCBill (for affiliates anyway) is that they do indeed pay weekly and timely. I also understand that utilizing CCBill limits program parameters and possibilities for some sponsors.

Sponsors with self-paying programs are always welcome to inquire about our inexpensive rates for our very effective marketing program.

This does make me made. The last letter I received from their attorney last October, indicated they owed me $216.00. Now they are starting up another affiliate program, paying out money with this new program before paying off old debts? I used to think Doug and Jay were pretty up and up guys.

Has anyone out there received payoffs from them since this started last year?

Well, aside from the fact that they don't pay their bills, what totally blows me away is how they totally ripped off Jake Cruise's site "Straight Guys for Gay Eyes."

their site "Eye On The straight Guy" is just regurgitated content from an old site, re-edited to take as much women out as possible.

They ripped off the end of every sgfge movie where the guy gives the thumbs up to the camera..

They even copied his tag line "Straight Porn for Gay Men."

Even the write-up is a VERY close copy of the text.

I mean, honestly, guys, if you're gonna try this shit, at least try to be a LITTLE original.
