How many GIGs of Hardrive space do you have at your desk??
I just added up mine and I'm sitting on 520 GIGS in total... with about 60% used.
It blew me away ...

What comes after gigs? Terra? 3500gigs here. Better I should compete on gigs rather than, well something else.
500Gb RAID 0 on my main computer
120Gb on my laptop
200Gb on my 2nd desktop
1TB RAID 0 on backup external drive
500GB RAID 0 network drive
250GB ext. drive
200GB ext. drive
160GB portable drive
for a total of 2.93 Terabytes
You guys keep your movies on HD's I'm assuming ... I delete them from my desk area once they have been edited and put them on our storage server (along with the back-ups of the sites)

I keep all videos on my local HDs and lots of photo content too.
I keep a copy of each movie and every image. I use the images in our graphics work and cuts from the movies in our compilation previews so I have to keep them handy. With the hd processing I need all the help I can get.

Right now on my desk (including my 2 laptops and 1 desktop) i have around 4000gigs thats with about 5 external drives too.
On Garys desk he has 500gigs.
In the fire safe we have another, god knows, maybe 1000gigs of data stored.
5500gigs in total i think that makes.

Local machine (my personal machine) 250 gigs
Video storage array (also under my desk) 6,000 MB (6TB)
Still storage array (on top of the local machine) 1TB
Right now, until the latest DVD authoring files are backed up to tape and deleted, the storage arrays are at about 90% full.
2 - internal 400 gig Sata
1 - internal 180 gig IDE
1 - external 200 gig
finally feels roomy in here LOL!
the program we use is called "BACKUP" - by retrospect - I don't know if its available for pc
we have everything set up to automatically back-up and send to whatever and wherever we need on a regular schedule - its very easy and fuss free - just the way I like it...
Retrospect is available for PC, and it's probably the best backup software out there. I've tried about a half dozen different programs, and it had the best combination of ease of use, speed, and it was reasonably priced, too!!
