You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?
Speaking Of Flash Videos...
How significant is the difference in bandwidth useage between clips that are encoded in to .wmv, .mpg, .avi etc when compared to Flash?
I know flash banners typically burn less bandwidth than .gif animated ones im just curious if anyone actually has any solid numbers on how much bandwidth flash clips use in comparision to traditional movie formats?

Lee

There is a software package called Flash Video MX. It will encode your preview videos around 1/2 the size of WMV, but you wont notice hardly any drop in quality
Have fun.

On the other hand.... You have different fingers
The bandwidth usage is 100% a function of the size of the file. So if a Flash video file is smaller in size than the equivalent Windows Media file, it will use less bandwidth.
RIght now, the h.264 codec (open source, but developed by Apple for use with the Ipod) is the best bang for the buck... files encoded in h.264 at, say 500K/sec look MUCH better than files encoded in Flash or Windows Media, so you can use h.264 at a smaller bitrate, still have the same quality as Flash as Windows Media of a higher bitrate, and save bandwidth.
