    anti-hotlinking and google images

does anti-hotlinking stop search engines like google or yahoo images from listing your image content? If yes, does anyone have a good anti-hotlinking htaccess file that allows for search engines?

I know your Robots.txt will stop google image dead in it's tracks.

Hotlinking, I have seen non hot link images show up in google image BUT I have also seen them, once clicked on, give you an anti hotlink page or overlay image

I don't want to stop google, yahoo, etc...I actually want that traffic and will gladly allow them to hotlink. I just want to stop others from hotlinking without interfering with the search engines.

You dont want to STOP Google images traffic, instead, break it out of the Google frame when someone tries viewing an indexed image and send that hit direct to your index page
