    Mainstream Companies suing Porn Companies...

Does this happen very often? For instance, like brand name product being shown in the background? I am always very concious of coke cans, anything with brand recognition, also I won't show a porn video that is playing in the background unless it is my own. Just wondering what some cases were of mainstream companies suing porn companies.

Good question, Came up a few times but never got a business answer. Just the "It makes them look hot" or "It makes them money"

However, There is a set of a guy with a Tigger (Disney) sweat shirt on and opens up a "Disney is pro gay porn" topic.

Today, the Advocate is reporting the OPPOSITE situation. Cyberbears sent out a press release regarding NBC using their footage uncredited on Conan O'Brian.

You might get a nasty letter at worst, but if there's no deep pockets to tap, it's not worth the trouble for a corporation to go after you.

This is a great point! It costs so much to hire an attorney that if there is no money to be had, the only person that would win would be the lawyers

I'm not sure I'd agree with Mark on this. Most big companies have attorneys on retainer (or even on staff) and if they decide that it's damaging their brand in some way, it doesn't matter if you have money or not, they might decide to put you out of business so they can get your site and assets.

I suggest being conservative and doing your best to avoid brand names and logos. (Also artwork and posters on walls, etc.)

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

Its also not just in shoots, anyone who feels you damaged their brand can end up suing you, as JustMe is currently finding out over at GFY from UGAS
