    using different domain extensions for marketing

    is it best to try to market a site using the site's domain name with a different extention or just to get a totally different domain name?

    If you own the com and it's a paysite, i'd be buying the org and net ... toss a blog or tgp on em, or at least sleep nites knowing someone won't grab up the name and use your brand name to sell other sponsors from it.
