in the domain root, or do you build and use it from a sub folder? If it's in a subfolder are you using the domain name as the subfolder or just calling it "blog" ie: mysite com/blog /

The blogs I've been creating are on the main tree for right now. I have been buying domains just for blogging. If I had a site before that I would promote I'd shove it in a subfolder.

I suppose you could label it a free site type. Generally upsells to my own stuff, as well as sponsors. I use the blogs to feed to specific pages as well, and vice versa. All part of the SEO game.
