What Is More Important To You? Clicks Or Conversion Ratios?

I know both really dont matter much at all however, im wondering out the two options, which you are more likely to pay attention to in the grand scheme of things?

Is traffic or conversions more important to you on a site?

Right now i'll settle for whatever gets someone to buy... but without traffic you can't convert, so they're rather inter-dependant.

Imagine that you already have some traffic, what is more important to you, how well that traffic converts or maintaining/growing the traffic levels?

clicks is more important to me because as long as i have clicks i can send convertions to another spnsor

I don't really understand the question. To what type of site? There is a big difference. To my link list I want to grow traffic, that's why my ads are at a min right now. To a paysite I would want conversions, unless it was new and I was playing with the tour/join pages then I would want all the traffic I could handle.

Maybe it depends on what type of site. I sure as hell don't want to grow traffic to my movie gallery w/o conversions.
