Anyone Know Why This Keeps Happening?

Whenever i reply to peoples email, 60% of the time i get a bounce back that says the following...

Your message did not reach some or all of the intended recipients.

    Subject: RE: Advertising inquiry
    Sent: 7/31/2007 2:17 PM

The following recipient(s) cannot be reached:

'Chris Cheuvront' on 7/31/2007 2:18 PM
    513 Relaying denied.
Anyone know what the reason for this is?

    Im using OutLook 2007.

    Regards,

It was SENT to one PostOffice and it would require that PostOffice
to reroute the email to another PostOffice, which was denied. The post office it was sent to said "I don't think so" and sent it back to you.

This can be common when someone sets up a forward to another PostOffice box.

It can be a problem on your end... especially if you are getting a 60% fail rate. Compare the addresses failing (getting the error msg) to the addrs that are going through (not getting the err msg).

It could be if your Outlook was set up using shortcuts or abbreviations for server names, and your outgoing mail server thinks (that you think) that the recipient is on the same mail server as you...

It can be if your mail server doesn't recognize that you ARE a customer (authorized user) of it, because of the way your Outlook settings are typed in.
