I'm looking for a distributor that can aid in the cost of replication at least for the first 2 titles they distribute for us, then in the future I can do the replicating.

I'll do some more looking around. I heard there's a company out of Canada that's really good on that stuff. The only downfall is shipments. But they do it. I'm trying to figure out who this company is. And my understanding is that they do a 60/40 rev-share. You pay them 40% of the replication cost which comes out of your 60% payout. THey kind of split everything with you. So far I don't have a name for them or anything.

I worked with PornTeam in the past on this same type of operation. They did everything 50/50. But they dropped me because I purchased a domain "FeistyGayPorn.com and FeistyGayPass.com" as membership sites. And they're company name is Feisty Media. And I havent heard good news about them at all, so I dont really suggest them.

But let me find more about this company out of Canada, and I'll let you know :luke:

Chris at Pornteam happens to be a great guy and he runs his business very professional and honestly. Its very hard to find a person like that in this business.

Just because a poster was not satisfied with PornTeam or reserves a URL that is very similair to Fiesty Media (Pornteam), you actually have to wonder about the person that made the post in the first place regarding Pornteam.

I have to jump in here as well. We've done business with Chris at PornTeam since before we had membership websites, back in 2000 and 2001. AJ and I both count Chris as one of the very, very few people in this industry that we consider to be completely trustworthy, and someone who absolutely does not deserve having his company name disparaged.

We have found Chris and PornTeam to be excellent at marketing our product, helpful in offering suggestions and making connections with others in the industry, and, in general, an all-around good guy that is probably the most honest, helpful, no-BS guy you'll find in the physical product industry.

There is more to the Sebastian Sloane story than is being told, but Chris is probably too much of a professional and a gentleman to get into a mudslinging contest. Suffice it to say that the story is not as advertised, and I doubt you'll find much of anyone else with anything negative to say about PornTeam.

Depending on which Canadian company is being referred to, I'd be careful. There's at least one that I have heard stories from at least four or five different sources about shady practices (dishonest reporting, not paying, etc.)

Chris from PornTeam works with me and is probably the most honnest person and honnestly I would not work with someone else .. since it very hard to trust any body in this business...

again chris is the best to work with you don't find better sorry...

Chris really knows his stuff, and has always been very helpful to me! If I ever have a question DVD related, Chris one of the very first people that I talk to about it. I have never heard anyone say a bad thing about Chris and he knows a ton of people in this industry!
