    Respect

At what point does another webmaster earn your respect as a webmaster and member of the community?

In a way, I guess it's two questions and loaded at that. Meaning: While you could argue someone is a member of the community, you may not respect their business ethics or business model.

Opening another question about how you define respect but lets just keep it in the realm of respecting their ideas and making time for them when they have something to say.

You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

I try to treat everyone the same way, until they prove themselves as not being worthy of respect.

Its weird but even some of the people / companies that everyone knows i dont like because of their business ethics still have people working for or owning them who i respect greatly as individuals.

For example, someone who went from blowing guys on films for his next 'hit' to owning a large gay site, you just have to respect a person for changing their life around so much in a positive way no matter what.

Couldn't have said it much better. I think it comes down to how one perceives the other, from how things are conducted both on, and off line.
