Are We Trending More Towards Jocks These Days Instead Of Twinks?

Ive been doing some research for the past hour or so and it looks to me like the only people who are really still heavily pushing 'twinks' are on the straight side of the industry whilst most gay companies and affiliates, with a few exceptions of course, seem to be concentrating more towards college aged guys and jocks.

Have we finally gotten away from the misguided concept that twinks are all that will sell in the gay marketplace?

Twinks don't sell in my vids as well as jocks. Maybe because my niche is Jock/Coach, and as such Twinks, well, aren't jocks.

However with the advent of Sean Cody and Corbin Fisher type sites I think jocks are coming more of the in thing.

Another thing (and this is sad) that has happened is we have these euro sites (Mike 18) that are really taking a big chunk of the market.

There are a few big twink sites. But the day is long gone that you can launch a twink site and expect to get 1,000 members easily.

Just keep the asian boys coming!

But it does seem like a lot more jock/fraternity content/sites are opening up.

There will probably always be a market for high-quality twink material, and heaven knows hardcore twink fans are really dismissive of jock and bodybuilder types. We are certainly seeing a demand for rugged looking men even in the bodybuilder group. The trick is, models don't diet themselves into a stupor and leave it covered in hair. A tough deal to make.

I agree with Alex. The trend is more toward masculine "rugged" looking men. In shape guys with some body hair and slight imperfection here and there what people are lookng at these days.
