what is different between twink and jock please

I'm not english native, so I'm not 100% sure, but

Twink (young attractive guy) normally is a blond boy between 18 to 22 years old, but I also see latin twink.

and "jock" is an athlete or sportsman
or a jockstrap, also known as a jock or athletic supporter (underwear)

To me twink is a young smooth guy ( 18 to 25) slim. Jock will be same age and a bit older, but a bit more muscular, athletic type.

Twink was once slang as a Teenage White INto Kink or at least as I remember growing up. Twinks were always white with blond head hair but smooth bodies.

That has totally evolved to become any young teenagers 18 to 24 slight of build and smooth. So you can have Latin or Asian twinks now.

Athletes are generally muscular and have a broader age range and can have hair.

For us older guys, twink was not just an age thing (Lisa is right about the body types) but more about an attitude. Jocks clearly look as though they could compete in at least one sport. Twinks (which back in the 70's was derivative of the term twinkie) are all sponge cake with creamy filling. Overly sweet and lacking in nutirional value. Even when I was 22 (back on the Conestoga wagons) it was more a pejorative term. I do think that by the terms origin, pale and colorless was included in the description (hence the exclusion of latinos, blacks and asians). But things have certainly changed. Twink was a subset of the chicken family. Some day I will do an organizational tree to lay all this out. :joker:

Actually I think the word 'twink' became more common to replace the bad word t***. Some years ago, but ages ago in internet terms, nobody used the word twink but the bad word was all over place. There was a distinction though. For young males 18-19 (some 30+ too

) the bad word was used and those 20-25 were called twens. But I guess that's soooooooo 80th.
