I quit watching the MD telethon when I was 12. And have never been a fan of Jerry Lewis. Now I kinda wish he'd do us a favor and just die already.

Lewis then gestured toward two other cameras on the set.

"Oh, your family has come to see you. You remember Bart, your oldest son," he said, pointing to one camera.

"Jessie, the illiterate fag," Lewis said, pointing to the other.

He apologized for the "anti-gay" slur. So my guess is that he really did say "fag".

I think Jerry has lost his mind. I remember a few years ago he pointed to a black guy who was camera manager or stage manager or something and said something to the effect,

"Ed over there is going to get fired soon. There are too many white girls here and he's just a little too horny."

Is he on something?

I woke up at 2 in the morning Sunday night flipped thru the channels and saw some old dude mugging and beating time to the music like he was a cool cat,,then I realized Oh my god! thats Him! he's a Ghoul, I shuddered and went back to bed!

You're right. He sure doesn't look like the Jerry I used to know. He looked like some character from Lord of the Rings.
