I usually listen to something without lyrics. Like classical or a good progressive house beat that wont distract me but inspire me and make my brain work . Alot of the time though Im talking so much I dont think that I even listen to the radio cause Im to busy listening to my damn mouth HAHA Im so loud you have no idea just ask chip. I dont think I shut up long enough during one day to listen to a song the whole way through HAHA joking.
IDM all day long
Be Who You Are!
Ill typically have the iPod shuffling through the 5000+ songs i have on it all day long so whatever plays is what ill listen to, classical to jazz, rock to metal, opera to indy, its all on there

Lee
Try to mix it up ... 80's Rock then 70's funk ... but nothing MODERN blech!
random stuff. i am a big fan of deezer.com (which i once misspelled as "deeker.com" but will never make that mistake again) and i'll listen to anything I'm in the mood for. The other day i listened to Toto's "Rosanna" for about 4 hours straight because i was too busy/lazy to change it.
either that or leekspin, which I've been addicted to ever since IdolKnights mentioned it in a post. Thx Idol :groovy:

i don't always listen, but when i do it varies from swing to grunge to punk to metal to new wave with a variety of alternative, disco, pre-punk and so on.
Not sure if all cable companies have it, but I keep MTVJams on all day. 100% rap all the time. I am a hip-hop head. When I find myself lagging or getting distracted by the videos, I switch over to the jazz music channel. Some great beats there too believe it or not.

I just put my iTunes library on shuffle and let it play all day.
These days, I'm almost embarrassed to admit that I'm obsessed with the new Kelly Clarkson and Mandy Moore CDs. Two years ago, you never would have seen me confess to listening to girl pop singers like those, but both of them really stepped up to the plate this year and put out ultra-personal, ultra-mature records that redefine what "pop" music can sound like. If you haven't heard either of those records (Clarkson's "My December" and Moore's "Wild Hope"), then check them out.

I listen to the Walmart Radio!! Cause that's all they pipe into the damn store. At home, when I do my online stuff I listen to the TV.
A friend pointed out to me that Gwen Stefani and Fergie have become so shallow and vapid since leaving their respective bands. And from what I've seen of their solo work, it's true! Gwen needs to get back to No Doubt, and Fergie should RUN back to the Black-Eyed Peas. I hate to say it but, without their male bandmates they come off like airheads without a trace of originality or thoughts of their own. Believe it or not, when they were aided by their male bandmates they both seemed like far stronger, more independent women!
