I am starting a gay webmaster blog.

OK. I am not the EXPERT on gay porn. But, I have been doing this since 99 or earlier. So I have done just about everything. Most projects have worked, while others have failed miserably. I am very honest in saying what works.

So, I find joy in writing about topics I love, especially after my dad passed away a year ago. Consider it therapy.

I am finding I am writing long ass posts on various boards and getting lots of PMs to explain more and spend hours on icq explaining what I mean.

Without standing "snobbish" I want to share what works for me...

Topics I am working on:

Creating the perfect surfer trap.
Filtering your traffic.
Crunch Time (make the most money from your traffic)
Making Tube Sites Work For You
Why AVS is NOT dead and how to make $$$ on them.
Running a link list and How 1,000 hits a day to a LL can make you an easy 4 sales a day. Plus other advantages.

Subjects I lack experience with:

SEO and how to make it work.
Making Tgps Work for You (I use to be a big tgper, but just don't like the TGP climate at all)
Laws - I follow the advice of my attorney, but would never write an article about them.
Countless other topics.

So if anyone has ideas or suggestions and feels like being a contributor, shoot me a PM. I am not really trying to make money yet, just contributing something and I find enjoyment in writing about things I like.

I am sure if you contribute we can find a way for you to make some money or branding your biz.

BTW, the domain will be gaywebmastering.com. Need to get the NatNet guys to create me a db so I can get the blog up....

Although I've been in this biz for years now (but amateurishly), I still have a lot to learn from more experienced webmasters.


Also, methinks times have changed considerably since 2003 and things that worked back then aren't working so well now (at least for me)... so maybe one of your first topics could be: "The most common mistakes older webmasters are making in the light of new times".

Thanks all for your support. After my dad died I have found myself writing during those sleepless nites and many times I wrote about topics like this. Some I posted on boards in a condensed versions. Others I have in a word doc.

I think one of my first topics will be writing killer text to make AVS sales.

Example - Here is what I posted on another board for text that worked for me in the past to sell Mansites. By all means if you read that and say he's a horrible writer, lmk, and maybe I will rethink the whole process. (My feelings don't get hurt, so no worries.)

Sometimes I feel us old timers are afraid to adapt to change. Rather than adapt to the changes in TGP, I just said fuck it. There are easier ways to make money.
