Underage Affiliates....

I need help with a question....

Yesterday we had a webmaster affiliate want to promote us at SebastianBucks.com and I don't know what to do here. I've never had this problem before.

The webmaster does have an active adult website. He is 16 years old....

I don't really feel comfortable having a 16yo promoting my sites.

If I decline him, am I doing the right thing. That's what I'd rather do, but if it's legal, then I want to let him.

I'm absolutely stumped on this.

Does anyone have a suggestion for me? How should I act on this?

The site they are wanting to promote is my lubricants site.

My attorney read this after I posted it and called me. It's a lube site, so I didn't know.

I blocked his IP Address permanently so that he can never access my sites ever again for the life of his IP Address.

Secondly... look guys, you may have been in this industry for 50 years now. But I am still new, I've only been on this end for a year and a half now. No need to be bashing someone.

If the kid was wanting to promote porn, memberships, dvds, I would have said no from the get go. But since it's a lube store, I didn't think there would be a huge problem. But I wanted to ask. There is a difference between porn and lube you know.

I think JJ was just trying to get helpful information from others who may have more incite!

That's what makes the board what it is, by getting to know each other, offering helpful constructive information when possible and taking advantage of the opportunities that can result from board participation.
