New Google Tool

Not sure if it is new, but in the google webmaster section they have a tool that shows number of subscribers to your blog using googles rss tools.

My question is - Will google use this as information in their algorithm?

Everything Google does is gather information, it's the reason this company exists. Armies of geniuses are getting paid to develop ways to make amazingly complex cross references in that sea of information to get usefull answers and then make money out of it.
