im having some germans visiting my site and they dont seem to buy normal stuff like everyone else does and i wanted to know what you send your german men to when they go to your site does ars work for you or are you trying something else that works on germans
Well, I don't know what you are trying to sell to your visitors from Germany and if I would buy it, but Germans usually have different tastes and likes as all other nationalities. There is no 'German man', people are just different.
However, there are some national peculiarities in most countries or regions of the world, but I don't think they are so important that they would have a larger effect on most things you want to sell.
One possibility is that you are trying to sell stuff that might be exciting for your visitors from the US, but is quite normal over here in Germany or Europe. Like a lot of US folks go all crazy when there is a nipple to see and they seem to think the end of the world is near, but actually nobody would care over here because you can see nipples everywhere. Also nudity is not such a big issue over here. So if you are trying to sell things like this it's quite likely that you won't attract much business from Germany or Europe.
Also buying porn in general is not such a big deal over here. You can find porn shops in every major city and they are not hidden somewhere in a dark part of the town. You'll find them right in the bright city centers and next to McDonald's. And every video rental store has its adult section where you can rent dvd and video along with your favorite block buster. Buying porn over the internet is more a matter of convenience or for guys who have to hide their homosexual strike or curiosity from their wifes.

What I can say is that germans mostly have a closer look at what you're going to sell them and that they compare before buying! So give them a good quality site (maybe multipass) which has a lot to offer at a fair price, tell them about it and don't try to overpromote it with slogans from a US TV shopping show, we don't like that shit
Try to be fair, informative and honest and make clear that the site/product is really worth its money!

The other issue with German surfers (in case anyone was unaware, which I doubt, but it bears repeating) is that Germans' do not use credit cards. Credit Cards have maybe a 30% penetration rate into Germany, at best, so don't go wandering into Germany without an EU Debit solution!!

Well I wouldn't say that! Maybe not every german has a credit card but I've been running an online shop and about 40% of the orders are made with credit card!
And everyone in germany who earns above the average owns a credit card. Maybe we don't pay everything with it as the americans do but we use them, too

Well, we do use credit cards.. or would like to use them more. The problem is that credit cards are not widely accepted for regular shopping. Almost no supermarket or retailer accepts credit cards, so they are simply not part of the daily life and people mostly use debit cards instead.
Mainly the retailers are not too happy about credit card payments because of the hight costs. When I had a retail shop I always preferred to get paid by debit card over credit card.
There are roughly 25 million credit cards issued in Germany, which would be close to 30% of the population if everyone had just one card. I think that's not too bad, even though probably not enough to play among the top nations. But using of credit cards is increasing, especially for internet payments.
After years and years of telling people how unsafe it is to make online payments, it seems that companies have finally discovered that there is business to make. With new and better security technologies for online payment the whining and complaining is less loud now and shoppers simply see the advantages of online payments when they've finally crossed the line and made some good experiences.
Strangely the only bad experience with credit cards I've made after years of online payments was when my card number was stolen and used for online shopping by a clerk at the local gas station. So, from experience I consider online payment safer than handing over my card to someone at a shop, restaurant or gas station. But maybe I was just lucky until now
