What Do You Consider 'Hot' In Terms Of Shoot Locations?

I was wondering what you folks thought about in terms of locations to do photo shoots and what makes a shoot 'hot'?

Right now im working with several models and we're about to start doing a bunch of shoots next month and so far i have about 8 locations / ideas of shoots that i want to do, pools, bars, restaurants, washrooms, hotel rooms, etc that i think would be great locations however, i need to think of a few more and im drawing a blank in terms of shoot locations that would be 'hot' to do.

Im thinking about doing a shoot on a beach and outside in the woods near here but other than that, i need about 10 more locations/scenes and really cant think of anything thats going to be a turn on for surfers.

How do you folks come up with ideas about locations for shoots etc and what makes a shoot turn you on (other than the model)?

    Regards,

    Lee

I like outdoor locations: beaches, forests, lakes, rooftops, anything where it looks 'risky' to be filming.

Raw warehouse spaces and dungeon atmospheres are frequently used for fetishy or macho scenes.

My basement in San Francisco is available for that. (I've heard it was an illegal rave space and a dungeon at one time.) Here's a photo:

Shooting in a public bathroom is very hot...did that years ago when I was running a personal "vanity" site. Even found some with glory holes and shot some stuff there.

I would not advise it today...but in the 90's it was fun to do. Now that bathrooms are monitored so closely it is too risky. Just ask some Republicans about that...hehe.

    PUBLIC PLACES!

And not totally hidden private places. We shot one of our recent feature videos in a parking lot of a business that was closed for the day.

The members went crazy for it! It's pretty hard in the UK to find locations because you have to watch out for all of the government security cams.

agreed! , risky photography is hot! , especially if you can film in a location where there is public movement. ( city buses , parking garages , laundry mats , etc. )
keep in mind though that "risky photography" has "risks" and often is illegal.

sincerely ~ ..."think where sex couldn't possibly happen and make it happen!"... :cop: ( hmmm...a police station? , i'll have to try that! )
