You may be able to use Windows Media Encoder, which is free. I use that now and then, but haven't tried from Quicktime specifically. Otherwise, we use Sorenson Squeeze.
If it as Mac - I was going to suggest Episode by Flip4Mac - it is great. http://www.flip4mac.com/episode.htm
Otherwise - Chip's suggestion for Windows.

Thanks for the tips CCJax and Chip.
Chip.. sorenson squeeze isn't working with the clips because they were created "copy protected" by me. Media encoder seems to be creating poor quality clips. So I've toyed with using my Sony Vegas and it's working, but making big file sizes... SO I'm going to convert in Vegas, then squeeze the wmv in Sorenson Squeeze!
Thanks again guys :bunny:
Anytime!
side note:
There are some new services available now, that some of the delivery networks have incorporated into their offerings - kind of like 'mini content management systems' (CMS), with some really robust transcoding engines integrated. Example: you upload a video in ANY format, and you can set-it to automatically transcode in multiple formats all at once AND deliver back to your server automatically.
They run about $200/month for the CMS on top of the $300/month streaming/content delivery minimum charges.

Might be a little rich for some, but the time-savings factor is substantial.
