on site / off site hosting

Can it be assumed that content within an iframe is on-site hosted even if the information is from another domain?

from a 2257 perspective, if your URL is at the top of the page, then you are responsible for 2257 records according to most of the attorneys who have offered an opinion on the issue, so from that perspective, the content in an i-frame is on your server.

Not sure if that's what you were asking...

in a round about form, yes. meaning, if it's truly defined by 2257 as being "on-site" per being viewable under a domain address, then it's "on-site" per the law. Leading to a coverall answer albeit a 2257 question or not.
