Is There An Information Site For Potential Adult Models?

Im trying to find somewhere i can send potential models that get in touch with me to tell them the ins and outs of getting a professional shoot done, what they should expect, what shouldnt be expected, etc, etc in terms of what the producer, themselves and anyone on or around the set should / shouldnt be doing.

Does anyone know of such a site please, or is this something im going to have to have written up myself?

We've had that project in the works for several months now. The only thing holding it up is a few non-nude pics of models (so they're not all Boyfunk boys) for the graphic design, and it's been on my list to contact a couple of programs and borrow some pics.

We should have a first version ready probably within the next 10 days.

I made it a form that forces them to attach a picture and a phone number. Without a picture and a phone number, the form won't get sent. I'm tired of wasting time replying to "please send more info".

The big decision is whether to tell them up front how much you pay. I choose to tell them right off to weed out the lookyloos.

Some producers use what I call the Used Car Salesman technique of not discussing price until you've lured them in. I can't be bothered with that.

Mark, That doesnt explain what the potential models can expect to happen at the shoot, thats more what i am after.

* The photographer wont want to be blown by you, if he does run.
* You will be asked about what you are comfortable doing prior to the shoot.
* You will be paid $X amount by cash/check/etc after the shoot.

Thats the sort of stuff im looking for so models will know what is and more importantly, what shouldnt be expected of them at a shoot.

Why are you making it so complicated?

They call my office, one of the girls tells them what the deal is and schedules the apointment to fill out the paperwork. When the model shows up a pic is taken, paperwork filled out and all info is emailed to me in pdf. where I decide who to shoot.

I think what Lee is saying is that a lot of models don't know what's reasonable and what isn't reasonable in terms of "industry custom" and that sort of thing.

I've had a lot of models tell me that the producer wanted to fuck or blow them or whatever, and they didn't want to do it but went along because they assumed from rumors that "that was how the industry worked."

I've had other models tell me that a certain studio conveniently never has a copy machine available (apparently said studio doesn't realize that digital cameras can take pictures of IDs) and tells models (after content is shot) that he can't pay them until he gets a copy of their ID, so they need to send it when they get home, and he'll send a check... which rarely, if ever arrives, and if it does, it's months after the shoot.

I've had models tell me that studios tell them they can't get HIV from barebacking if the top pulls out before he cums.

And dozens of other things.

It's those sorts of things that we will be talking about, and linking to various sites about "best practices." The idea is to give models information to help them avoid shady practices and make wise decisions, without telling them what to do.

it would be nice if there were a "standard" , i get alot of models from out of state/country and hear all kinds of "horror" stories.
until then "information" varies from photographer/studio/etc. to photographer/studio/etc. , i would encourage all models to contact the studio they intend to apply to and find out exactly what is involved and/or ask questions/concerns at that time before walking into something "unexpected" , then contact another studio and weigh the information against the previous to get the "common thread" ( most reputable companies have similar operations/rules. )
i wish there was a way to "identify" these "low life's" so far i've noticed it's the people promising the biggest money.
