You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

I Wonder? Doing Business With Newbies - Are You Cautious About It?

I found myself talking to a newbie earlier today, for the first time in almost a year i might add, and about half way through the conversation i got 'weird' vibes like he was trying to find out more information about the sites i own than i was willing to give out, asking for more URLs than most normally would, examples of free sites, galleries, etc, etc and that just set alarm bells off for me.

Do you think i was overly cautious with this guy or was i right to be concerned that he was asking to see a bunch of things i had built?

When you strike up a conversation with a newbie are you cautious about the stuff you tell/show them or doesnt that bother you so long as they seem to be serious about the business?

    Regards,

    Lee

Im one of these guys who goes with first impressions. Even though sometimes they might be wrong, but 9 times out of 10, they are correct. if you got funny vibes about this guy Lee, id listen to them. Ive had models asking me way too many questions in the past for them just to be interested in the modeling side of the biz. they were out for info on how to set up their own production company, but I say to guys like that....do the research in a non deceptive way just like I did and not the back door way and then that way yu actually might just get somewhere.

No...but I have been known to bang my head on my desk when they ask me what an FHG is or how to connect a banner.
