Seems that I've lost a very important thread I started along with some other posts I made yesterday moments before the crash.

Just wondering if this happened to anyone else other than mois?

I have a big VOID period between November 3 and the 11th? Kind of weird

yes, I am totally blind until I put my reading glasses on and have a cup of coffee but, I thought I read that a few day's worth of posts had been lost -

I can't find an entire week's worth - oh well - give me a chance to re-post some important stuff...

in announcements and other places... about our new affiliate program and, our nomination of Bill Gardner to the FSC Board...

Tony yes, several posts were lost in yesterdays hard drive crash, going back to Wednesday evening.

Unfortunately, we were supposed to have daily backups with our hosting company prior to NationalNet taking them over, i was informed however that backups happened 'rarely, if ever' last night when i spoke to NatNet about the old setup before they took control of the boxes.

GWW is now on daily backups and im going to be speaking with Bill early next week to ensure that the setup we were supposed to have, in terms of backups and raid servers is actually in place from now on

This was a good learning curve for me, i took it as gospel that when something was requested, it would get done, that doesnt seem to have happened..... Until NatNet got involved :thumbsup:

I'm glad to hear that I'm not going blind or loosing my mind - Cam and I are always arguing over things we think we remember doing vs. what we actually did - goes with long term marriage partnerships !

Good lesson to all I guess - especially since we're with NatNet too - we do back-up anyway - we'll be MORE VIGILANT about doing so...

watch the guided tour or just go in to one of your local apple stores for the live demo or... just buy it and install it 1,2,3 bingo!

that's what this board needs - time machine and an instantaneous recall of everything back to - you pick the time and date and let it do the work

Tony, as much as I usually agree with you I think this and other boards could use some more forgetfulness from time to time so that the bad things are let go :catfight:
