    How Do You Deal With...

Having more business ideas than you have time available for?

Right now im writing them down on my desk and i have a legal pad full of them that in all truthfullness, are probably never going to be started because i just dont see how im ever going to have the time to start, and finish, them.

How do you folks deal with having more ideas than you can handle for business ventures, etc?

    Regards,

    Lee

I've got the same problem. Part of my solution was to
    1. buy a domain or 2 for the concept and
    2. start up a file folder and/or a 9.5x6 inch spiral notebook and fill it with ideas, notes on content I have avail, links to content or material I can buy, lease, rss, etc, and jot down urls for upsell material, and so on.
    3. Add to the notebook a rough estimate of initial start up costs and time commitment to both setup the project and to care for it once it's up.

Next is to actually go through the site ideas and prioritize them, and get some sort of goal/time frame laid out.

As I do this, I'm seeing there are ones I'm just not going to do, or have lost interest in, and will probably sell off or dump some domains.

some personal projects/sites are just now being tested/launched , they were started in 2004 ( interpreted: some things just take a lifetime to complete. )
a good idea is a good idea no matter if people tell you ..."you can't combine "art & porn"... , ..."it just isn't done"... , ..."no one else is doing it"... , ..."oh! that's so stupid!"... :crybaby:

Ugh! Too many ideas, not enough time! I'm always buying domains and then don't use them. However, I often can sell the domain at a profit so it's not always that bad.

    I have the same problem!

I wish I could have reliable employees......but everytime I find someone, it takes forever for the stuff to be done, or they just vanish on me...

    Lee,

I have the same problem. Webmasters here know that all too well.

My new approach - Since I think they are good and all require affiliates, I just give them out to people and hope than someone will take one of the ideas so I can market it.

Not the best way I know. But what can I do?

I still wish someone would create a fake torrent site. I spent a day working on how that one could work.

same here....I think this is a sign of a true entrepreneur!

I would love to just hire a cheap offshore worker, problem is that I can never seem to find one that will actually work.
