Thanksgiving Plans - Do You Have Any?

Well ThanksGiving is only a couple of days away so i wondered what everyone was doing this year?

For us we're heading to mom and dads again along with the rest of the family like we have done for the last 6 years now, this is actually the one holiday i really love because the entire family gets together and just spends the day eating, drinking, having fun and arguing with each other LOL

So what are you folks up to for Thanksgiving this year?

Well my man and I are heading up to the cabin in Big Bear. It will be 4 peaceful days in the mountains with lots of vino, hot tub action, and nakedness by the fire! Let's not forget that big turkey dinner either.

aah Thanksgiving. Traditionally its the day when everyone else relaxes.. and I cook. I love to cook but only for groups, i think cooking for 1 or 2 takes to long, so we will have the cbl boys from both houses here in Orlando with me , plus loads of other guests around the tables. ( the count is 19 people so far )

My whole fam damily gets together at my sister's in Kansas City for a long weekend. Too much food, too much wine, too much scotch, and enough laughter to make my stomach hurt for a few days after the weekend is over.

I'm in Hawaii, all alone, at a very remote and rather secluded beach house on the north shore of Oahu.

My BF is coming out in a few days and we're going to sit here and pretend the world doesn't exist.

I'll be right here, plastered in front of the computer until zac calls us to the table to eat. NO ONE enters the kitchen when zac is cooking holiday feasts! After dinner, I'll be cleaning the kitchen for about four hours and then I guess I'll be right back here at the computer! No rest for the weary and us wicked ones don't need any! Have a great holiday and I look forward to hearing about everyone's "Norman Rockwell" meets "Jerry Springer" holidays with the families!

Che' has to work until 3 pm, which isn't too bad, so I'm fixing a turkey. We picked up a small 12 pounder yesterday and hopefully it'll get it's frozen lil butt thawed out in time!

Won't be fancy per se, as we do fix turkey on a regular basis around here, I just opted for a whole one so I can have plenty of meat for hot open faced turkey sandwiches and gravy, turkey salad, creamed turkey over biscuits, turkey rice soup, cold turkey sandwiches ... :heartu:

I'll be cooking all morning for my wife, familly, and a few friends I'm sure will be over. Then I plan to eat and enjoy watching them clean up I love the cooking, but the cleaning after all that eating is best left to someone else. :chef:

Due to my mother trying to get on her feet as a Memphis Lawyer we have no money and she's driving it. It wouldn't be fair to make her cook so the family and I will be going to Cracker Barrell and let them do the cooking and cleaning. But at least we go together ^_^
