    Why Is It Called Censorship When...

    I remove a thread on GWW but when other boards do it, its ok?

    Never understood that myself $0.02

    I call it censorship on any board, although there are a very very few rare occasions when a thread should be removed.

    If the board in question is GMS, that's a complete joke, because they have a long history of removing all sorts of threads, often for little or no reason.

    Personally, I think it's always a board owner's perogative to remove a thread or post, but it's a responsibility that must be used very wisely; if one does so too much, then the integrity of the community suffers. On the other hand, judging from the traffic on GMS, integrity apparently doesn't matter to most people.
