You do realize by 'gay' I mean a man who has sex with other men?

    Movie Encoding Question...

Does anyone know if it is possible to remove the color from DVD content either whilst, or after it has been encoded for web use?

I have a bunch of 70's and early 80's movie content that is in color but, id like to make them in to black and white for some retro content and am not really sure if this is even possible to do.

    Does anyone know?

    Regards,

    Lee

Probably easiest to do it in the editing process. Most decent editing programs will have a B&W filter option. Premiere, Final Cut, etc.

also you might be able to get some filters that will add "old style" noice and tv lines etc to the mix to give the "its old, very old" kind of feeling..

i know there are one for premiere pro but cant remember what its call right now..

I've always been openly gay. It would never occur to me to behave otherwise.

Yes it can be done during the encoding process. But that depends on which encoder you are using. I have three (the first two were NOT what they were put up to be) but Episode Pro does a bang up job.

An alternative to black and white would be to adjust the hue and saturation to give them an aged look. Rather like the arcade movies of the 70's.

this might be even better as most of the porn i've seen from the 80's and late 70's is color with that aged look.
